Why a terrific Idea!I’ve been getting anxiety lately because of obstacles at work and my relationship with friends. So my sister (@catholicfemininegenius) suggested I write my worries down and place them at my patron holy people’s feet. As you can see in the picture I got the holy family praying for me. I feel a lot better and less alone.

CALLING ALL ANIMAL LOVERS: CAN YOU HELP?
Caitlin’s fiance just got a dog. He’s just ten months old, and he has a condition called paraphimosis (his penis won’t retract back into its sheath—it’s a serious condition which could lead to amputation). The area is also infected. Surgery is necessary, but it would cost upwards of $2,000, and they just do not have the money. Caitlin’s family has been having financial trouble as of late (they are a single father family; her grandmother has cancer; and they are in family court), and her fiance is similarly strapped.
They also cannot bring the dog back to his previous owner because…this dog has been abused. He flinches whenever you put your hand near him, and he practically inhales his food. We think there is a good chance that his old owners were running an illegal puppy mill. (The paraphimosis might have been caused by them trying to breed him too early.) Caitlin’s fiance called them, and they refused to help pay for the surgery.
They can’t send him back there, knowing that he has been hit, but they also cannot afford the surgery. So…here’s where you come in. If you were able to make even the smallest of financial contributions toward the surgery, I know that they would be BEYOND grateful. Prayer for Strength In Dieting
Lord, I need your help! You have set a bounteous table in front of me which I have enjoyed time and time again and for which I am grateful! But it seems I may have enjoyed this a little too much and my body is reflecting the bounty! Please help me to choose healthy foods, to know that I will be fully satisfied with smaller portions and give me the strength to resist overeating. Amen.
